Being a fellow Brit and of a similar age to her I was quite partial to her in 1994-1995.
To see her now makes me so very sad though. She's a pale shadow of her former glory. I'd rather just remember her as she was.
I feel the same - she'll never be as good - sadly.
Oh, c'mon folks...
Can't we cut her some slack?
You're talking 1995 - listen, NONE of us look as good as we did 20 years ago (youngsters excepting - since it doesn't really apply).
Bad advice was given, mistakes were made. And difficult efforts toward correction were taken, too. She does look better now, post fix, than many women look naturally or enhanced. I applaud her efforts, and her strength to keep going.
We can't regain her original natural magnificence, true. I can relate to your feelings of sadness and loss. But, why keep knocking her looks - if you can't like it anymore, accept it and move on. Let her be appreciated by those who like her as she is.
And just get past it ourselves.
