Ohhhh! That Tardis!

Got to get Dr. Who on tape, it's been too long without the Doctor.

I heard a rumor they might be trying to bring it back ... again (the movie by Fox was the worst idea ever .... Americans can't make/remake Dr. Who ... what was great about it was cheap sets and British speaking aliens who were acting like they were in Shakespeare ... you can't reproduce that over here) ...

The Return of Dr. Who?

Finally some interesting news on this thread. Even if it's only a rumor.

Either way - thanks Munch.
If only...

Hmmm ... checking out Dr Who's website and it seems I didn't dream it:

New Series Info

-AND-

An Animated Series

But seriously, I love our TV .. but .. Dr. Who should not be made by Americans .. I'm glad it's gone back cross the pond ...

-Munch "course for the darnest, I can't recall where I heard the rumor .. maybe I did dream it ...  not the first time my dreams predicted what will happen ... hmmmm ... now if only I could dream up some stock quotes" Wolf

I'm glad there can still be a movie -- I liked those two old ones with Peter Cushing vs. the Daleks.

The faint scent of pine filling the room.
Flames leaping about as if it were a ballet
Performing for its audience.

No way! I figure this is like...THE "we'll break the rules if we damn well please" thread. See, it looks like a thread to discuss Chelsea, but in reality its a giant conspiracy...and a blueprint to a house in my chest.

Dont move the thread!

In regard to the "Doctor Who" connection, maybe Chelsea has a chance to be cast for it !  From former "Dr. Who" star Tom Baker ...

"Tom Baker has been talking about the upcoming TV series reviving the role with which he remains so firmly linked. His main suggestion for an actor to play the Doctor? Transvestite comic Eddie Izzard: "I think Eddie would be good as he's so strange - there is a benevolent alien quality to him", Baker told the Teletext website TV Plus.

Baker added that Page Three girl turned TV presenter Melinda Messenger would be well-qualified as the Time Lord's assistant. "Melinda would be good as she can scream and has bosoms. It doesn't really matter if she can act". "

Actually, what's really needed is a variant of an original Star Trek TV script, where half a dozen huge boob girls can be cast as the remaining inhabitants of an isolated world.  The plot can then proceed regarding why the girls' breasts are so incredibly large, what the hell actually happened to all of the men on the planet, and what is likely to happen to any other men who land there (as well as some awesome special effects showing where all of those calories go when one of the girls kills and consumes an alien male visitor) !

Hey, BBC, I work cheap!
